Rippleffect Scoops Best Digital Agency Award
Rippleffect has fought off fierce competition from the likes of Code Computerlove, Mando Group, CTI Digital and IAS B2B Marketing to be crowned Digital Agency of the Year at this year’s How Do Awards.
According to the judges, Rippleffect’s 65-strong agency team is “a credit to the region” and was rewarded for its “impressive profit increase and enviable new client win portfolio”.
Currently in its fourth year, the How-Do Awards attracted a record number of entries from companies across the North West and proved once again to be the largest gathering of media and marketing services folk in the North West during the course of 2011.
With 16 awards up for grabs, the shortlisted agencies reflected the very best the region – one of Europe’s most vibrant – has to offer. The evening took place at The Point, Lancashire Cricket Ground, and there was little sign of the effects of the downturn for North West agencies. With as much glamour and excitement as the BAFTAs, the atmosphere was one of celebration as opposed to economisation. Broadcasting stalwart Jim Hancock hosted the event, and rewarded the key players in the digital, advertising, print, PR, radio and TV worlds for a year of success.
Speaking about the win, Rippleffect’s Sales and Marketing Director Kirstie Buchanan said:
“This award is symbolic for us as a digital agency because it recognises our commitment to reinvent marketing and communications for today’s companies. Innovation is paramount for a digital agency, so our continual focus on what is around the corner translates to powerful new models that provide competitive advantages for our clients.
“The whole team has worked incredibly hard to deliver outstanding digital work over the past 12 months and the win is a testament to our effort and commitment. The competition at this year’s Awards was tougher than ever and it is great to see that the quality of our work has shone through. This year has been a fantastic one for Rippleffect, seeing us secure a raft of new Blue Chip clients and talented employees. We’re all working towards continuing this success for the remainder of the year and beyond.”
Rippleffect is also conscientiously sowing seeds for the future. With the current hunger for digital talent, the agency is on an aggressive recruitment drive; while ensuring it continues to foster young creative talent, not just in the North West but also from its offices in London and Scotland.
