somecomms Everton and Rippleffect Stand Together for SomeComms successAwards season kicked off in style on Thursday night when our Everton ‘Stand Together’ strategy picked up two top accolades at the SomeComms.

We won the Best Social Media Campaign and Best Use of Social Media to Research and Evaluate categories, helping to make it a memorable night at Manchester’s Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel.

Stand Together came out on top in a competitive Best Social Media Campaign category, which included the likes of Nokia, Bing and O2. Meanwhile, in the Research and Evaluate category, we fought off competition from Continental Tyres and Arts Council England to collect the award.

We’re thrilled to have won these two fantastic awards, which are recognition for our hard work, creativity and focus on delivering measurable results for clients.

Our relationship with Everton spans almost 10 years and in that time we’ve worked together on some extremely rewarding campaigns. We’re immensely proud of the Stand Together campaign and look forward to working on more exciting projects with the club going forward.

The SomeComms were launched in 2010 to celebrate the best achievements in UK social media communications from organisations and individuals. Other winners at the ceremony included brands such as Skype, Greater Manchester Police and Cadbury.

We’re now looking forward to seeing whether the Stand Together campaign can make it a hat-trick at the MiAwards on 15 November, where it is shortlisted for Best Social Media Strategy/Campaign.
