The e-commerce platform we created for LFC has landed a top accolade at this year’s Online Retail Awards (ORA).

The awards, now in their sixth year, are open to entries from businesses anywhere in the world and celebrate e-commerce sites that enhance the customer experience, giving brands a strong presence within their own retail environment. The Reds’ online store, launched last year, emerged victorious in the Sport category, fending off competition from two other retail businesses.

Built using Magento Enterprise, the site became world football’s first ever responsive online store when it was launched last year and has led to significant year-on-year increases to both conversions and average order value. With further development planned in the coming months, we’re excited about the site’s future.

Other winners at last night’s event included Toys R Us, which earned the coveted Prix d’Or, Laura Ashley, Virgin Experience Days and The Body Shop.

Check out our LFC e-commerce story for more details about the project.
