Over the weekend, a team of four brave Ripple team members, with the help of three Ripple support staff, completed a non-stop 100km walk for charity.
Ripple Ramblers completed the gruelling Trailwalker trek over the South Downs in the impressive time of 25 hours and 15 minutes.
The walk, which started at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and finished at Brighton Racecourse, began on Saturday morning and involved the team walking through the night, pausing only for food, drink...and plasters
At one point, full-team completion looked doubtful. Our Technical Team Lead Mark, suffering from heat exhaustion, decided to drop out of the walk following medical advice, only to throw his hat back into the ring a mere five minutes later and rejoin the team.
The team have so far raised a brilliant £1,554 (and rising), surpassing their target of £1400, with all money being split between Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust.
