New Rippleffect Site For West Mercia Police
Rippleffect has developed an arresting site for West Mercia Police - geographically the fourth largest police force in England and Wales - to help connect it to the communities that it serves.
The site has been designed to keep residents up to date with force news and initiatives, offering features such as crime figures, introductions to individual police men and women and details of policing policy in local areas.
It also boasts maps to help users find their nearest station and operates as the main online recruitment hub for the force.
Stephen Grundy, corporate communications manager at West Mercia Police, said of the site: "It will play an important role in supporting our community initiatives and helping to make us even more accessible and transparent.
"In 1995, we were the most technologically advanced constabularies in England and Wales with the launch of the first police force website. These developments have helped to reinstate our position as a technological leader.
"The site allows us to maximise the community engagement opportunities across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire."
