CityWest Homes

We were tasked with developing a comprehensive digital strategy for management organisation CityWest Homes (CWH) to improve its ability to communicate, engage and collaborate online.

Created in 2002 by Westminster City Council, the CWH is responsible for managing, maintaining and improving council houses and estates, comprising of more than 21,000 properties in central London.

We worked with the CWH team and its partners to build a stylish, inviting and accessible online platform supported by robust functionality. This has revolutionised the way the organisation communicates online, both internally and with existing and prospective tenants.

Research and planning was implemented to help CHW better understand the needs of its end user, identifying expectations in terms of content and design. Meanwhile, card-sorting exercises were held with tenants to see how navigation should be structured.

The resulting user experience makes it easy for users to interact and engage with CWH online, while allowing the organisation to communicate core messages to its users.

We also developed a user-friendly new intranet system for more than 200 staff that allows both management and employees on the ground to publish, share and disseminate information quickly and securely.
