When global foodservice and support service organisation, Compass Group, asked us to help it upgrade to a new software base, we set about developing a customised online eLearning solution.
Compass runs several applications on Oracle's Hyperion Financial Management software and planned an upgrade to the system9 release. This led to a requirement for a new solution to support the migration of its existing user base to train new users and develop existing users going forward.
The intuitive and highly interactive modular eLearning solution was underpinned by a powerful and flexible CMS. Instruction, demonstration and quiz sections were implemented, while the CMS allows Compass to tailor a personal training programme for each individual user.
Integrated with Active Directory, the solution includes imagery, Flash animation, audio (including a professional voiceover) and a high level of interactivity.
Subtitles are available in multiple languages including Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Japanese, with users able to pause and save their progress mid module and return to the module at any point to complete it.
