We undertook a complete overhaul of the humanitarian organisation's online presence with an innovative website that showcased its broad mix of projects, catered for its diverse membership and encouraged new members to join up and get involved.
Features such as blogs and an online events calendar were implemented to attract a wider audience to use the site, while an online shop and dedicated campaign areas were included to raise awareness of important issues and increase donations.
We gave users the opportunity to search for details on their nearest Rotary club, as well as providing members with access to additional features such as district support and committee information.
Key successes of the new site have included:
- 22% year-on-year increase in unique visits
- 15% year-on-year increase in total visits
These steps, in conjunction with key accessibility features such as scalable text, gave Rotary an excellent platform for promoting its work to a much wider audience of members and non-members alike.
