Having begun life as an ambitious Liverpool digital agency way back when, it was an especially proud moment for Rippleffect to be commissioned last year to design the website aimed at attracting visitors to this fantastic city.
Working with The Mersey Partnership (TMP) and its incumbent destination management system (DMS) provider, New Mind, we developed a stunning, elegant series of design templates that showcase Liverpool's greatest assets. Each section is tailored to the interests of the city's many visitors, including culture, music, sport, leisure, facilities and events - which together make Liverpool the great city that it is.
As well as fully integrating the features of the DMS into the new design, we set photography of the city's beautiful waterfront and classical architecture as stylish backgrounds, providing a great framework for a diverse wealth of online content.
The new site has generated a rapturous reception from both the public and the tourism industry alike and established a ‘stand-out’ presence for Liverpool on the global stage. Recently, TMP has launched an offline marketing campaign that compliments its online marketing efforts beautifully and helped to drive even more traffic to its impactful and engaging website.
