This exciting new development required a website that actively promoted its arrival in the city and tracked the construction process as it counted down to the first guest checking in.
Results
Rippleffect created a highly professional and stylish new site, which reflects the potential clientele that the hotel aims to attract and helps the chain to engage more effectively with their target audience. The design strikes a clear balance between informative content and subtle Flash animation and imagery to create a fine visual appeal; importantly, the chain and its staff have full control over the site through a user-friendly content management system.
Rippleffect were keen to avoid the website becoming a simple brochure site however, and in line with the hotel's desire that it should reach out to the audience rather than just inform them, contains a raft of innovative, interactive features. These include RSS feeds which alert the audience when new content is published and an email newsletter, both of which have helped to raise interest in the venue.
In addition, the hotel is now able to give a personal viewpoint through ‘Bobs Blog', where the new General Manager can publish his thoughts and ideas. The site also acts to boost bookings by allowing potential guests to submit their questions and queries via an online form, acting as an invaluable commercial and promotional platform which continues to attract new guests on a daily basis.
