Brief
Fulham needed a solution that involved a complete rebuild of the front end of the site, which would fit in with their existing technology. The design also needed to be brand conscious and be suitable for incorporating commercial opportunities.
Results
The team at Rippleffect produced a cutting edge design that reflected the brand values of Fulham as a club in a thriving and fashionable part of London. The project required Rippleffect to work closely with a number of the club's existing suppliers and advertising partners to ensure a seamless, engaging offering for the club's supporters in what is the most popular league, with an international weekly audience of several billion.
Integrating with the club's existing Contensis content management system, Rippleffect developed among other features an extensive ‘Fanzone' which includes quizzes, message boards and screensavers, with incentives for registering to provide the club with more customer data. The ‘Juniors' section, dedicated to younger fans, is a unique and engaging feature, encouraging repeat visits from users through its games, cartoons and polls that tie in with the club mascot.
The site is also highly accessible for all users, having been designed to AA level, with the option to quickly view the latest news, sign up for RSS feeds and navigate to view the latest videos, mobile content or make a purchase online via the club shop.
