Website

Case study

Brief

Liverpool College required a vibrant new website which would showcase a diverse range of events and activities and the achievements of both staff and students, working to attract new pupils to the school.

Results

Rippleffect worked closely with Liverpool College to create a hugely appealing website rich with information about the school. Each group of pupils, from the preparatory school to the sixth form, has their own dedicated section containing news on the curriculum and facilities; there are also dedicated areas for the Liverpool College Foundation and alumni, known as Old Lerpoolians.

Perhaps the most innovative, and effective, element of the site is a features box on every page, which contains the latest news stories, links and downloads as well as featured image galleries and an interactive event calendar. This is supported by interactive panels of photographs and video content of school life throughout the site. Rippleffect developed the site however not just to promote the school, but to increase communication between staff, pupils and parents; with this in mind, Liverpool College can now send out email newsletters containing the latest events to a considerable database of contacts.
