The Authority required a new website which would detail their role and responsibilities to a diverse local community in an engaging and highly accessible way.
Results
Rippleffect created a vibrant, highly effective design which showcases extensive information about the work of the Authority. It is easy for users to find the details they are looking for quickly and easily through an intuitive navigation, which includes highlighting related documents the user might like to view with each article.
In addition to browsing through an extensive news section, users can read minutes of previous committee meetings and also sign up for branded email newsletters. To make the site inclusive, Rippleffect also incorporated important information in a range of international languages and gave users the option to seamlessly increase the size of the text displayed. Visitors can also fill in online surveys about the work of the police and, for authorised members, there is the chance to view restricted information securely through an extranet.
