Brief
Rippleffect was appointed to develop a new website that would increase numbers of registered users, sales and spend per head of existing customers. Salonlines required an eye-catching and informative site while making them stand out from their competitors by implementing a search engine optimisation campaign to improve its rankings. A long term solution was required by Salonlines to boost sales of its products and increase data capture for future marketing campaigns.
Results
The new site was originally launched in 2003 and has been successfully evolving since that time to become a market leader. The introduction of a new content management system and e-commerce facilities has allowed Salonlines to boost sales by constantly updating the site with exciting new products and discounts, while providing an easy and secure way for customers to buy online. Customers can sign up to receive seasonal newsletters with details of new products and competitions, to encourage click-throughs to the site.
To raise Salonlines above its competitors, Rippleffect has helped the site to sit at the top of search engine rankings for specific key words and phrases. It was the official supplier to Channel 4's The Salon for two years and were also winners of the ‘Best E-commerce Site' award at the 2005 Big Chip Awards, after their re-design with Rippleffect.
