Brief
The teachers at the school required a reporting system that integrated with the existing database software already in use. The new system needed to save time and be accessible from inside and outside the school by students, teachers and administrators.
Results
Rippleffect designed and produced a multi-layered system encompassing a secure login function unique to each user to determine the level of access, dependent on their status. It allows teachers to post report data and comments for each student, and was designed as printer-friendly for offline distribution whilst also incorporating the export of data into other software programs such as Excel.
It was intended as a two-way feedback channel and so also enables students to post their own ratings and opinions on their performance. Due to the success of the Bankfield project, the system is currently being rolled out to schools nationwide.
