Brief
Total Fitness required a site that would increase communication and marketing with their customers and allow them to increase their member database. It had to be a central site for the brand, while allowing users to view specific information about the club in their area.
Results
Rippleffect created a bold, user-friendly site which uses a mixture of content and options, including embedded videos and the ability to join online, to increase memberships for centres across the UK. Data collection is a core feature of the site, with users encouraged to submit their details to register online to receive news and offers via branded email newsletters.
Importantly, the site also offers something to existing members, with an exclusive password-protected area containing information specific to their local club. Total Fitness staff also have the ability to upload their own promotional banners, offers and advertisements via an easy-to-use content management system.
To increase the impact of the new site, this work was complemented by a pay-per-click campaign which generated a 30% month-on-month increase in online memberships and an average return on investment of 400%; taken together, these steps have markedly increased brand awareness of Total Fitness across the UK and created an effective channel for attracting new members in a highly competitive sector.
